MijnOLVG : your personal patient portal

MijnOLVG is OLVG’s secure online portal for patients. It gives you access to your medical information and allows you to manage more and more of your healthcare digitally - anytime, anywhere. Because OLVG communicates primarily through MijnOLVG, using the portal ensures that we can help you quickly and efficiently. 

Please note: MijnOLVG is currently only available in Dutch. We still strongly recommend using MijnOLVG, as it is the easiest way to stay on top of your care. The portal is intuitive, and most browsers offer automatic translation. 

What you can do with MijnOLVG

MijnOLVG helps you prepare for appointments and communicate with your care team. Through the portal, you can: 

  • view, schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments
  • view, download and share your medical records
  • request repeat prescriptions
  • check your test results
  • see radiology images, such as X-rays
  • receive digital support for your treatment  
  • send questions to your healthcare provider  
  • read the report from your visit to the Emergency Department 

Logging in with DigiD 

To use MijnOLVG, you’ll need a mobile phone or computer with internet access. You can download the MijnOLVG app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Login is done securely usingDigiD, the Dutch national digital identification system. You can also log in via the website www.mijnOLVG.nl, but logging in with DigiD is faster and more convenient, and therefore recommended. 

Identity check at the hospital

To fully access your medical records, your identity must first be verified at the hospital. You can show your ID at the helpdesk called ‘Patiënten Servicepunt’ during your next visit. The desk is located in the central hall of OLVG.
